That’s the closest I can come to expressing what I see in these leaves.
The patterns are too disorderly to be a dance–unless they are children playing at dancing…

The original is from a short series I did some years ago that I called “Phabrics.” (That’s the “ph” from “photograph,” replacing the “f” in “fabrics.”) And, of course, I originally envisioned them as fabric designs.
I really enjoy the unique shape of ginkgo leaves.
